Hello! I’m Vanessa Nilsson, an artist and creative professional based in Northern New Jersey. My work is deeply inspired by nature, wildlife, and the stories we find in the world around us. Whether through oil and acrylic paintings, pyrography (wood burning), or animation, I love bringing to life scenes that blend realism, imagination, and a touch of the surreal.

In addition to being a fine artist, I work as a Creative Manager in the printing industry and as an Adjunct Professor of Animation & VFX, where I guide students in developing their own creative voices. Teaching, painting, and creating all fuel one another, and I strive to make art that sparks curiosity, conversation, and wonder.

Every piece I create is one-of-a-kind and made with care, and I’m grateful to share my work with collectors and art lovers everywhere.
